Haven't posted in a long time. I've been working on a kit, but I'm not too happy with it, so maybe I'll ditch the whole thing and start again........we'll see.

A new freebie kit for you!

Once again I have spent a little time creating something......something a bit unusual this time. I watched Gone with the wind (again) late one night, and this time I paid special attention to those amazing colors! I felt inspired, and I thought about Scarlett's green and gold dress that she made from the drapes, Ashley's yellow sash and the red taffeta petticoat that Rhett bought for Mammy, and suddenly I had something to work with. The kit also encorporates a mix of the luxurious and the worn-and-torn, as the movie itself does. This kit is not very universal, I know, but perhaps it will work for someone's special project somewhere. So here it is:

In Retro-spect!

Well, here I am again, and yes......it's freebie time! This time I have made a kit based on interiors from the 60's, and I have called it Retro Lounge. Long time, no post!

I have recently become a member of the creative team on a scrapping site called scrapable.net, and I have been so busy there that I haven't had the time to update my blog. Just two small pieces of info right now:

• I have decided to give the 365-project a miss this time - I simply have so much other stuff to follow up on these days.
• I'll be back really soon with a new kit called Arabian Nights!

Just finished another freebie for all my fellow DigiScrappers out there. This one is called Venezia (Venice). As you will see, most of the background papers and some of the elements are in quite muted colors. But for a "pow!" effect, I chose to include some flowers that are found in the Veneto region around Venice. I had fun making this kit - I hope you have fun using it! As you can see, I have included a couple of pigeons. Those of you who have been to Venice will know why. The Piazza San Marco is absolutely full of them! My sister has a bit of "bird-phobia", and was terrified. These pigeons however should pose a threat to nobody......Leave them as they are, change the black to the color of your choice or maybe make a pattern overlay? They should be quite usable for wedding/love LO's.

Oh, I'm so behind on this....I haven't been a good girl and brought the camera with me everywhere. I guess I will have to make a small compilation for a couple of weeks now. Anyway, here is the one for Feb 6-Feb 12. I have used the kit "Alive and kicking" by Raspberry Road Designs for this.
